iPod touch not synching
Have had major problems recently. All apps work on iPod touch, but I can't sync with iTunes. I may have gotten some bad advice which made things worse. My apps are no longer saved in iTunes (but are on iPod and work fine). If I try to restore from a previous backup before the problems, I get the message that the backup session has failed. I have unstalled iTunes, and all the associated programs, reinstalled iTunes but that didn't help. Will it work to deauthorize my computer, uninstall and reistall iTunes, then reactiviate the computer, then sync my iPod (or transfer files) to iTunes? I don't care about music. I just don't want to lose my apps.
