Wax Across Americaâ„¢
Hello Current and Future Icrontic Friends,
Recently, I had gotten laid off from my job. While pondering what I wanted to do with my life, I realized now is the best time to do some traveling and see the country before I have to re-enter the working/schooling world. I had started out planning a "road trip to end all road trips" when all of a sudden, jetBlue Airlines began to offer an "All You Can Jet" pass. This pass enables the purchaser to fly anywhere via jetBlue Airlines flies from September 6th to October 7th (with the exception of flying on Fridays and Sundays). What perfect timing! So I snatched one up today and started planning my journey when I realized a few things: I'll be travelling alone, there are a lot of cities I want to go to that I don't know anyone in and hotels are expensive. So if any of you beautiful people are interested in showing me around and giving me a couch to sleep on, I'd be honored to be your guest.
Since jetBlue does not have a Detroit hub, I'll be starting my journey from Chicago. I'm thinking of "splitting" the trip between the east and west sides of the country with an intermediary stop in Austin, TX.
Places I can go during this trip: http://www.jetblue.com/wherewejet/aycj.asp
Azeroth (US East)
I'd like go to go:
NYC
DC
Baltimore
Boston
Pittsburgh
Greenwich CT (Will be staying there a few days with a friend)
(Tentative schedule I just made up)
Monday 9-13-2010 (CHICAGO -> NYC) Friendz
Thursday 9-16-2010 (NYC -> DC) Annes/ICRenn
Monday 9-20-2010 (DC -> Baltimore) via bus?
Tuesday 9-21-2010 (Baltimore -> Boston)
Thursday 9-23-2010 (Boston -> Austin)
Saturday 9-25-2010 (Austin -> LA)
Lordaeron (US West)
This is all totally undetermined, I would like to visit the following cities:
Los Angeles
San Francisco
San Jose
Portland
Seattle
Oh and my birthday is on September the 30th which is a Thursday this year. Hopefully I'll end up somewhere ridiculous for that.
So, if you have a couch or any ideas, LET ME KNOW! (in this fine thread that is!)
EDIT: I can start booking flights on Monday the 23rd.

Skip San Jose and take an extra few days in San Francisco. My girlfriend lives in SJ and I've visited 4 or 5 times ... San Francisco's much more worthy of your time. Either that or hit up more of SoCal just to see how different it is from NorCal. LA vs. SD alone are like totally different worlds despite the ~120mi separating them.
