Here's hoping they fixed the mouse cursor issue.

    It's in the list.
Link doesn't appear to work though...

What is in the list and what link doesn't appear to work? There are 9 links in the article.

Ah, none of the download links work. Prime, you can't link directly to the individual downloads.

It was on the list in 10.4, too. Here's hoping.

The mouse cursor issue. In their release notes, the issue is under "Resolved Issues for the Windows 7 OS" as the last bullet

I have corrupted text and cursors on my 5830 since new with about 7 different revisions.

    This is on XP though.

I have a friend of mine, running a 4850, dual monitor set up and his system has been frequently locking up....

I've tried everything at home, but, I run my test bench on a single monitor set up...

Shwaip, have you been getting system lock ups on a dual monitor set up? I might need to update his driver to 10.8 and cross my fingers.

I get lockups here and there, but i think it's overheating (still playing with my fan speed curves a bit). I've got crossfire 5870s with a single monitor, so I wouldn't be getting any of the crashes due to multimonitor displays...but I still get pointer corruption.

There is no mention of it in the release notes but the Silent Stream bug is gone with the 5xxx series. However, there is a bug that does not apply the saved overscan/underscan setting at boot.
