Looking like Nvidia might be the new undisputed kings once again not too soon. I'm patiently waiting for ATi's response though.

My next upgrade from my gtx 480's in sli. From hot fermis to kool kepler. Lol. Well we have no idea if Nvidia will gain back its' throne because AMD is comming out with a 28nm chips in 2011 as well ( 2nd tape out of 6000 series) (1st being on currwent 40 nm chips due out in a few weeks) time will tell. If Nvidia keeps up the good work with its drivers, and comes out with better perfomance per watt then AMD offerning gpus then it might just happen. PPl think that AMD stole the market from Nvida, and will stay and watch nvidia take it back. Lol. You are wrong. AMD Did it passivelly and now will keep its share aggressivelly!

Kepler could raise the bar, but if they hit what they're promising, Maxwell will be the biggest challenger.

Then again, that's three years from now. If GPUs aren't delivering gains that large by 2013, then we've all been cheated.

Kind of surprised that they don't plan on any solutions for the 2012 timeframe.

If we have 8x performance that we currently have now I am going to be shocked to see what games will look like and just how fast programs will run. Fromt he look sof it CPU's are going to scale along with the GPU's

It's GTC. When they say 8x performance, they pretty much only mean for HPC. None of that pans out for desktop parts.
