my monitor is not working

hi,
i need some help,
recently i used my pc monitor to play a game wich is on my activo netbook when i was done i pluged said monitor back into my pc. i booted up the pc only to find the monitor was not recieving an input from the pc. i testedd the monitor by plugging it back into my netbook and it worked fine but still wont work on my pc. all other functions on the pc work i just cant see anything being outputed from the computor into the monitor. if you could help it would be greatly appricieated.
p.s. i know everything else works because i was able to access the computor through my laptop via teamviewer wich is , for those who dont know, a remot desktop connection manager see www.teamviewer.com for more details on the product.
