been playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 lately and love it. Saw this trailer on Steam and thought it looked pretty bad ass. Any one else getting it next Tuesday? Maybe get a little Icrontic online killing going?

My brother is probably going to pick it up on 360, so if it's good, I'll pick it up on PS3 so I can play with my friends.

Got it for PS3. Not looked as single player. Multiplayer feels like MW2 overlayed onto World at War. Great mix and an excellent balance (less spammy than MW2). I LIKE IT.

I break down and get every Call of Duty game on the PC eventually. It is a consistent fun filled formula. I still love World at War, its my favorite title in the series thus far. I appreciate the Modern Warfare formula, but there is just something about World War II that gets my inner history nerd all rilled up.

I'll get around to Black Ops eventually though.

Ok, this game looks sweet. And we need a game to "rally the troops."

I hate the cover art for the game. Eminem used the same lame ass pose, and I'm pretty sure several other rap artists have.

The cover art is all I know about this game.

It's blacker and opier than MW2. But mostly it's MW2 with more Black and more Ops.

    Let me tell ya,

I'm not sure what is going on with this games PC engine, but an AMD dual core with a 4870 does not cut it anymore. I was really surprised at how CPU hungry this title was. A decent 2.7 Athlon X2 Kuma core just can't handle it. I know this because a customer of mine sent it to me for analysis on its lousy frame rate. Good thing Quad core chips are cheap these days.

After my previous hatin', serious Q:

I watched my roommate play lots of MW2 last year, and it was brining back CS memories from the good ol' days. I played it when there was a free weekend on Steam, but kept myself from buying it.

These days, is MW2 still worth a purchase, or would should I opt for the black-oppier version?

I think MW2 is worth looking at on steep discount these days. Don't pay $40 for a copy, wait till they do a Holiday special on Steam (I'm 90% sure they will)

I had heard MW2 multi was pretty broken at this point, and jumping in this late will result in nothing but tears, most likely. The "game" is down to a science at this point.

That said, I haven't played it in a while (since I was in the States), and I haven't gotten around to Black Ops multi yet.

Considerably less grenade spam and n00b-tubing going on in Black Ops than there was/still is in MW2. I do miss some of the kill streak rewards, but it's a fun game. Definitely get it on PC.
