Who Knows Gigabyte Mobos??

System:

Mobo: GA-MA78G-S2H
CPU: Athlon Kuma 7850-BE
Memory: Corsair CM2X1024-8500C5D x 2 (2048)

As this is my first and maybe last Gig board, need to find out if this is "normal" or not......

While in bios I can use an USB keyboard, however as soon as it loads windows forget it!!! However an USB mouse will work????? :confused:
What's up with this??:( :mad:

    What version of Windows?

    Tried different USB ports?

    Keyboard works on other machines?

    Enable USB keyboard support in the bios (although this should only be in reference to the bios working with the keyboard and "DOS").

    Update the bios to the latest?

    It might not be problem with Gigabyte at all. I had problems with USB keyboards connected to ASUS boards with Intel and AMD chipsets too. Try to put a simple USB hub in between, if you have one around.
