System test after OC'ing

edited January 2004 in Hardware
What is the prefered software to test system stability after overclocking ?
I have a AMD 2800 Barton @ 200*11. Prime 95 reported a error at this speed (ram). Ram is 1gig of corsair XMS. Is prime 95 a good torture test or is there something better to use ???

I find the Folding client is a good test for overclocking. If it can fold a gromac for a full 24 hours using SSE then I class it as a stable OC. Also, you may be able to push a little more out of that 2800+ if you have adequate cooling. I get 200*12 out of my Barton 2500+.

Search for Pi, Sandra Torture tests, Prime95, and of course F@H.

Also the Veritest bench tests, run while folding. Available from PC World or PC-Magazine, both have content and business productivity tests that will stress what folding does not. Of course there is the Very Expensive Qualitas FA (FA means Final Assurance) burnin and test software, also, but for free or close to I would use what I first suggested.
