I'll be making a window in the top of the Cooler Master HAF 912 to view this DVD drive with a window, steps involved here, http://www.casemodblog.com/?p=7881



This oughta be fun ...just some minor alterations to put a window in the top of the HAF 912. I'll let the photos explain the rest!

It's going to be a Porthole Window... I think it's going to look really cool with the drive installed







I decided later to add a layer of this carbon fiber vinyl film underneath the acrylic,

That turned out really, really well. Nice job.

Thank you! I did another in a Lian Li PC-7 as well... much cleaner looking.. I applied brushed chrome vinyl film over the top DVD spindle, to match the aluminum. The angled piece behind the drive, (closing up the gap) is the 5.25 bay cover. I'm debating about making something else, probably from aluminum sheet bent 90 degrees.
