virus that kicks me off the internet

I was referred to this site as a possible help for finding a solution for the computer kicking me off line. I have another computer on the same system ( my home linksys) both are hardwired in. The other computer stays connected when mine cuts the link. I downloaded hijack this but I am unsure of what file is doing it. Thanks for any suggestions.

    Download the following programs:
    MBAM
    ComboFix
    SmitfraudFix

    1. Rename the install files for every program.
    2. Once installed, rename the executable used to launch each program.
    3. (If applicable) update each program.
    4. Reboot in safe mode and run the programs.

    When done, reboot and run CCleaner's registry and temp file cleaner.

    You should probably delete Internet Temp Files and Temp Files prior to cleaning, as if they contain the infection, it will only increase time taken to remove.
