Just wondering if anyone had any rcomendations for a free duplicate file remover utility? I have downloaded a few but they will all only remove 10 files or similar before you have to buy them.
Strangely enough that is what I ended up doing. Im not sure what one I used in the end but I got it sorted. It was a PITA. I have about 20GB of MP3s which I store on my desktop but they are synced to my laptop for DJing with. I recently re-structured all the folders then manually copied via USB as it was quicker than syncing and copying over Wireles network.
Unfortunately I dont have a 20GB USB stick so had to do it in three parts and didn't copy the structure exactly. This meant the first sync created a load of copies. Further to this I found that where I have auto re-named files according to ID3 tags I had two copies of some files with different names. This has made life much easier and my MP3s are all nice and tidy now!
