Gargoyle mentioned images in the outside thread, and that reminded me that, by default, the wiki software has a feature which lets you list all the media files on the wiki. For the CivWorld Wiki, it's here:

http://wiki.2kgames.com/civworld/index.php?title=Special:ListFiles&offset=20101208164642

Some of these images are not actually on pages yet, like this one:

Hmm, looks pretty neat. Reminds me a bit of Age of Empires to be honest, what with the houses, towers, routes to resources, stockpile locations, and the like. Not complaining though, I loved Age of Empires, and this seems like quite an intriguing setup. Looking forward to actually trying it out. :)

Guessing the roof color is related to their function. Green for food, purple for culture, black/grey for production and yellow/gold for, um, gold.

Not sure why the roofs of the granary are shaped like breasts, but I'm not complaining.

Speaking of Age of Empires, aren't they rolling out a similar game? I heard a little bit about it, and applied for their beta, but I never got invited.

Yeah, I read about it on Kotaku today...

Also, The Oregon Trail & Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? are both coming to Facebook next month.

Brings back memories of playing the trail on the Apple IIe at my elementary school.

That's the art style? Looks like Zynga made the game. Bummer.

To be honest graphics don't really bother me either way, as long as they're not confusing. It's the underlying gameplay that concerns me the most.

Again, speaking of AoE Online, I just got invited into their close beta!
