PC Hangs at Loading Windows Screen... sometimes

Maybe, 1 in 7 or 8 times when I start my PC it hangs at the black Windows 7 screen right after post for as long as 35 seconds before proceeding to the login screen.

Vertex 2 60gig in ahci mode.

    I've seen that relate to Windows updates, but that is just a shot in the dark.
