My phone has resorted to automatically answering/calling in speakerphone mode.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I assume if you put it back in regular mode before the end of the call and hang up, it reverts back to speaker mode anyway? This is just normal calling usage, holding it to your face?

Might try triggering some calls with a headset attached, but otherwise, I think a backup and restore might be in order. Never heard of that before.

Also, the rest of the internet says either reboot the device (might be that simple), or:
I had the same issue. Battery out then sim card out, put battery in without sim, turn on and then put sim and battery in together. Worked a treat.

A friend of mine works at T-Mobile, and says pulling the battery fixes many ills.

Did all of these things (except I don't have a sim card) still reverted back today. My 2 hrs of google searching yeilded this after I posted.

I might have to go to tech support (docking sensor might be blown).
