hi my friend has mac osX on her laptop
with 2gb of ram
i installed a copy of XP using parallels
xp only seems to read 512mb or ram
anyone encountered this issue before and have any solutions?

okay really really dumb of me
but the virtual machine is done using VMWARE Fusion and not parallels
i dunno why i wrote parallels in T___T

Stop the Virtual XP and drag the slider to more memory in the settings.

Also if her mac only has 2gb of ram I wouldn't allocate more than 768 to xp or her mac will take a noticeable hit.
