Lord of the rings:Battle for midle earth 2 problems.

Hi, I'm haveing a problem with lord of the rings: BFME2. I have successfuly installed the game, (Honestly i was supprised.) and it will load fine and goes to the main menu. trying to get to any gameplay however, the game closes to the desktop and only tells me that an error has occured. can someone help.
(yes my computer does meet the minimum system requirements).

    What error? Do buildings explode before the game closes?

    Not quite. the start up is fine but when i try to start playing, the game closes after loading everything, it crashes and closes.

    It doesn't say, only that an error has occured.

    Please list the whole system you are using. If you can, try to take a picture of the error message.
