Outlook Express - Cannot delete messages

Simple question. Am using Outlook Express, XP OpSys, and all of a sudden today I cannot delete unwanted messages.

Surely someone has run into and solved this problem. Help

    I'm fairly certain this could have been googled. Just off the top of my head, I can see deleting the deleteditems.dbx file being a potential fix.
