a friend of mine recently told me that she had a problem with an ex of hers cyber stalking her.
now her biggest concern is that her ex put something on her mac that lets him see what she is typing.
she gave me an example that she was having a chat with someone else online and he im'ed her in regards to that chat.
she also did say that he did install a lot of things on her mac.
does anyone have an suggestions of things i should look for?
frankly i'm in favour of completely wiping everything but she was a bit reticent about this

thanks

Back up. Wipe the PC. Contact law enforcement.

You may want to re image the drive to an external to preserve the evidence prior to the wipe.
