What's the best mouse that works from say around 3 or 4 metres? I have quite an old Logitech MX Laser and it goes a bit funny even one metre away.

metres, eh? Are those like socialist yards?

I'd suggest something that uses bluetooth.

if is DLS or direct line of sight, ir or bean wireless would be the best, else the bet is using BT, or if you trying to be fancy or just for fun, use ipod and connect to ur wireless network, there are some apps allows u to turn it into exteme long range keyboard and mouse

i belive is from logitech or somthing

Thanks guys, ordered a bluetooth mouse in case I need to use it a lot but that app you recommended allenpan works surprisingly well and will do for most things.

Not exactly a mouse, but I like this thing a lot. I use it with my HTPC, and it works from anywhere in the room. 3-4 meter is definitely no problem, and line of sight is not required, since it's RF, not IR. Just a thought.

i prefer line of sight for direct data transfter, as all of those 2.4Ghz RF is interfering with my equipment, however, i wish company would use Zigbee 802.15.4 for RF
