    How did I cheat? I got my notification the same way everyone else did. Besides, I even waited for the subscriber discount message to come through.

    I just don't know if I can swing this this year. With the drop in the event price comes the hotel fee, which if we share, would be about $20 a day, plus eating cafe food for every meal or going out puts meal prices at something like $40 a day. Add the driving to get there at $175, puts me at a minimum of about $500 I wouldn't normally spend.

    Not to mention that I have to buy vacation at $250 a day x5.

    I am still on the fence... I can't imagine how much ppl who are flying in are gonna spend.

    I for sure can't go. We are celebrating my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary up North that weekend (which I was only planning on coming out for the weekend). Hope to see some of you at other events! Maybe Summer Shindig. <3

    CF, I really hope you can swing it. I think you'd really enjoy what we'll be doing with this one. The food budget isn't really much different from other years. You still had to buy all your food at every other Expo..?

    I usually brought sandwiches with myrmidan, so we only ate out once a day, maybe twice for breakfast.

    The hotels often have breakfast included (provided you can drag yourself out of bed before 10:00).

    Let me know if Division-G can help with anything. Maybe drop off some extra gaming PCs or setup some consoles in the cafe for some gaming as well. It's what we do, so let us do it together.

    As someone flying in from Ca, I would certainly be interested in a Gaming PC waiting for me at EPIC.

    I would also be interested in that as well... I am only bringing my laptop, although my laptop can handle basic gaming like TF2, etc, but nothing hard-core...

    i have a 3yo laptop that runs tf2 at 1920x1200 with decent settings as well as sc2 at medium.

    The lan never features any bleeding edge games anyway.
