Emachine w2785 fried?

It worked fine before I installed the new RAM. I opened it up and installed new 1gb ram. I made sure that I was grounded well before I touched any parts. After installing, i turned it on and immediately I smell something burning from inside. I turn it off and then put back its original parts. Now It wont boot. The screen is blank. The fans run and the hard drive seems to work. Please help.

now im back to square one. Nothing works.
