Windows XP

Hi I am trying to load windows xp I am being told there is files missing and it wont going any further. I am loading from a memory stick because my cd rom is bust. My computer is a Packard Bell Le Div@. I can not get in the boot menu please can you help.

    To what capacity would you like us to help? You are missing files - we can't send you those files. You need a working copy of XP that's about the long and the short of it. You could see if you could borrow a copy from some friends but it has to be an actual XP disc and not a recovery disc. Otherwise you'll have to acquire one from a store.

    But perhaps another question we can help you with is why you can't get into the boot menu. Did you delete it, did the harddrive get corrupted, did you just forget how to?
