Are there any cheap projectors?

I'm looking for a solid projector for around 200.. I've not heard of many reviews

    I highly doubt you'll find anything remotely decent for that price.

    I got a sanyo plc xr201 for about $350 off ebay a while back. Native resolution is 1024x768 and has been bright enough for my likings. Any higher resolutions are going to be much more, though.

    yeah, thats what i was trying to figure out, i mean theres ones like this:http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Projector-HDMI-Card-Slot/dp/B003RX4LWK
    but i personally have no experience with projectors, so wasnt sure if they are basically useless at a low price like that

    Yeah, the fact that it doesn't even have the name of the company that makes it sets off alarm bells for me. Also, the max resolution is 1024 x 768 which is crap (IMO).

    Just look for a used one. When the bulb burns out, resell the carcass and buy a different used one.

    I spent $400 on a used 720p projector and I'm enjoying it.
