Advice needed: how to sync folders on different drives

Hi Icrontic goers! I'm looking for some advice here. I've got a few nice big HDDs in my rig now (WD 2TB, 1TB, 500GB, 120GB), and I'm wanting to consider some sort of backup solution.

The biggest thing I want to do is have a folder with important data have a copy on another HDD, and have them auto-sync with each other. Kind of like Dropbox. The point is, if one HDD fails, the other folder remains intact.

I would also be open to some kind of auto backup solution. Till now I've avoided those, as I'm honestly not sure how they work. I don't want to just ghost a drive over, as the bulk of my files are non-essential, such as gigs of movies that can be replaced. But my photos and project files? Very much yes. A fire-and-forget solution is best for me.

If anyone has a recommendation for software, please share. If it works for me, I'll buy you a beer sometime.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION! It's what I use. It's good. It's a Microsoft solution so it integrates nicely.

    SyncToy!

Sweet, thanks guys! I'll give SyncToy (what a weird name) a try. It sounds perfect for what I need. RootWyrm, you've earned yourself a beer. I hear you like Russian Imperial Stouts. I'll share something with you as well, Shwaip. :vimp:
