Regarding Backtrack-5

edited June 2011 in Science & Tech
I have recently downloaded Backtrack-5.After unzipping, I find the following:

A directory with BT5.img (4.88 GB)

File 1 : FSRW
Fille 2 : MOUNT ONLY
File 3:UNIONFS
File 4 : BOOTBT
File 5: BUSYBOX
File 6: INSTALLBUSYBOX.SH
File 7: readme

Readme instructions are bit confusing (being me a novice to be frank with u guys !). Now the questions :

1. May I simply burn the BT5.IMG to a DVD using NERO ?

2. Will this CD boot to LINUX mode ?

3. In a nutshell, what is the procedure explained in the readme file as regards using using Plaform tools of Android SDK..... ?

May I expect any (super fast ) help in this regard from experts on this forum ???

Thanks

I don't know if backtrack is something you should be using if you aren't already aware of its purpose and how to go about using it. If you want to take a foray into Linux, I'd start with a nicer distro like Ubuntu.

    1) yes
    2) yes
    3) i don't know, you should look at the android dev forums. Backtrack isn't something you would use for dev, though.

Perhaps a good question would be why did you download backtrack.
