BSOD, with this code, help would be appreciated!

Hey there. For the last few days i've been getting the dreaded Blue screen of death, something that in my PC's 6 year lifespan has never occured.

I have a Compaq presario PC, dual core intel pentium 3.2ghz processors, 500W PSU, Nvidia 9500GT GFX card and 2Gig ram.

*** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xE0000001, 0xB8488925, 0xB2B3D71C, 0x00000000)

That's what comes up sort of 2/3 down the page when it's showing what happened. I tried downloading software called errorend which said it would fix 0x0000008E issues, but I sense it's one of those, fake scan to reveal 000's of problems then ask for money to fix them.

The blue screen always happens at different times, but always happens when I am watching videos in google chrome. It never happened before I got chrome, but to clarify it also has BSoD'd from firefox once. It's always when I am on youtube or Teamliquid.net streaming SC2 games. Also, 8/10 times it's when I click the "fullscreen" button, but I assume that's coincidence.

Anyway any help would be appreciated, cheers =]
