Can't Install HP F4200 printer driver

The problem starts after extraction. After loading to 100%, instead of showing the SETUP window of HP, it does nothing as if nothing loaded. i checked if i downloaded the right driver for my OS, and also tried older versions, still the same. my OS is windows 7 starter. somebody help me :(

    Try right clicking the setup file and selecting run as administrator. It's worth a go.

    tried it, still no sign of the setup window :(

    Any way you can take a screenshot? I'm guessing it's a zip extractor and it is extracting the files to a folder but not executing the setup after. If that is the case you need to use explorer and browse to the folder you extract to, and find/run the setup file.

    Alternatively you can manually add the printer if that is the case without running the setup file assuming it is extracting the actual driver files individually.

    i have tried searching the folders hoping that it extracted to another one, no sign. i have tried using winRAR and the setup.exe doesnt respond at all.

    I hate to be a pain in the butt here, but can you take screenshots of the install process and post them here?

    I just looked at the Win7 driver list, the driver is included natively. Just add the printer manually through the new printer wizard and browse to hp -> deskjet f4200 when you are at the driver screen.

    now the thing is i cant install its other apps needed so that i could use the scanner :( still need a solution for this one ..

    I would try running CCleaner's registry scan, let it fix all issues, then download and run the general Windows 7 32-bit driver available here
