If your computer is pre-built, you can get a copy from your manufacturer for a good discount. Alternatively, you can buy a copy of the OS itself or use this as an upgrade time to windows 7 if your computer is capable of running it.

Windows varies from version to version as to what you can do. SHOULD you buy a disk? MAYBE. Check for viruses, rootkits, etc. please (this stuff as grouped is called malware), BEFORE you reload the os.
