Scanner Drivers

my brother needs to find drivers for his scanner
Epson Perfection 1260
the problem is that he said he can't find any 64bit drivers for it for windows 7
anyone have any suggestions?

    There's nothing he can do. The only alternative would be to install Windows Vista x64 drivers, but those don't exist, either.

    hmmmk.
    seems he might just have to buy vuescan then
    what about setting up the drivers in compatability mode?

    The drivers he has are able to be used in XP (Possible dual-boot)-- I also had a 1250 running in Vista with the old drivers, by reinstalling them under Vista's supervision, but had to use other software to see the scan. Paint Shop Pro Photo x3 from Corel (Corel bought PSP from Jasc) can display and edit acquired images(uses TWAIN directly)-- it uses . From there I had to go into the scanner properties page and check the invert image option or go into PSP and play a lot.

    The core scanner drivers were intended to rely on Windows TWAIN and Thunking and Twunking. TWAIN 5.5 is in Windows 7 32-bit.
