Thinking of getting a pda. Any thoughts?
Preferably one that has good support for peripherals inc expandable memory, reasonably fast processor (what kind of processor speeds should i be looking at).

What's your price range and are you stuck on a certain O/S? What kind of periperals are you looking at? What are you going to us this thing for?

Need a price before we can recommend anything.
Most likely PocketPC for expansion and fast CPUs. 400MHz X-Scale 255 is the processor at the moment although others shouldn't be too far away...

Ideal os would be windows coz all my other pc's run windows. price range would be about £300 max. I will be using it for word processing mainly, vids pics occasionally. A bonus would be if it had inbuilt voice recognition software.I do a lot of dictation and it would be awesome if it didnt have to go through my secretary (lessen her work load). Not really thinking of gaming on it but ...... who knows. I just may have free time on my hands.

It will be running Windows Mobile, not normal Windows, so none of your other Windows programs will run on it. There should be programs to suit your tastes available for Win Mobile though (PocketPC).
