I'm going to get an early present for my self so your thoughts.

    Looks good. The HDD option gives you more capacity support, would recommend that. One more thing-- Windows 7 normally supports 4 GB DRAM (32-bit) and more for 64 bit Windows 7, so I hope ASUS gave you some custom stuff in re the system drivers. Don't buy/try to run old games if you get the 64 bit subversion of Windows 7, as many simply will not run. Same for old programs, even 2-year old programs are pretty much written using 32-bit coding.

    Well the only compatibility issue I'll have is Halo 2 vista.

    On this laptop is it easy to upgrade the video card. Just want to know because I want the gtx580m.
