I'm still predicting that any Nexus device Sprint gets will come very late. They skipped the Nexus One, and were like ~8 months late to the party on the Nexus S. We'll see, but I'm not confident. Google has an obvious trend of preferring GSM carriers and devices.
Verizon and AT&T spectrum are incompatible, because they use different parts of the 700-800MHz band, and AT&T also uses channels in the 1700/2100MHz (AWS) band that VZW doesn't.
I could get down with an 8mp camera, Exynos processor, etc.
Though I wonder if the Exynos is correct, depending on carriers. If it's TMo, then that's def not it, since last notice was that it wasn't compatible with TMo's 42Mbps HSPA+ radio.

Technically, we were composing our messages at the same time. Mine was the later of the two, apparently. I blame the speed of light and fiber junction boxes in the Atlantic.
Either way, 1.5GHz, larger battery, 8MP camera, and global. *That's* my phone.
I'd be surprised if a unit was global, as that would put SO MANY RADIOS into one chassis, it would probably end up being 3" thick. More likely, they're going to launch LTE/CDMA, CDMA, and GSM variants at the same or similar times.
Isn't quad-band GSM sufficient for "global" use? Generally speaking, people don't consider CDMA global, since something like 80-90% of the world uses GSM tech for their cellular phones. When I lived in the US and bought "world" phones, it just meant SIM-based GSM.
The term they usually use is "World Phone" which encompasses the major GSM bands (pretty much global) and CDMA 2000(?) (the US, a good portion of Japan, S. Korea, and India, among others). Those tend to be pretty hefty due to the huge number of radios, and that's only when talking about the 3G. There are also now different LTE bands in the US and S. Korea.
I think we'll see a standard global 3G phone (CDMA + GSM, ala Droid2 Global) and a separate LTE run for Verizon.
Yeah. They cancelled the announcement because next week is going to be 100% Jobs' funeral stuff. Last scuttle was that the release of the phone/ICS will still happen at the end of Oct.
Even more battery draining goodies than existing phones! But with a battery of approximately the same capacity as ones where the top complaint is battery life! And it's cuuuuuuurved!

Here's hoping TMo/AT&T get OMAP because of the HSPA+ radio thing and Verizon gets the Exynos.
Also: The 4460 OMAP's stock clock is 1.5GHz, but it seems to be clocked at 1.2GHz. Not sure on the Exynos. Either way, your 1.7GHz number is definitely not unreasonable.
