Bitburger is OK. It's sort of a standard German pils that easily accessible here in the states in the form of 5L mini kegs. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan. I'd prefer something from Ayinger, Erdinger, Köstritzer, etc. The bigger brands like BitBurger, Warsteiner, Spatenetc. just don't hit me with a ton of personality (although they are still damn tasty).
Some of these larger brewers do something very un-Greman, they brew more than one beer. The standard BitBurger is just another good German pils, nothing special to me either. Spaten Optimator is one of my favorite dark (strong, flavor and alch) beers.

Bitburger is okay, but don't bother seeking it out yourself. Pick up a minikeg for a party of people whose taste in beer is less refined, or when you want to have a better-than-average low-end. Basically the sort of thing you'd take a minikeg of Heineken to.
