Battle for Middle earth 2 problem (Ambient streams)

i have recently purchased battle for middle earth 2 on pc, but the problem whilst installing , it gets to about 64% and then a box comes up saying 'A problem occurred when trying to transfer ther file 'ambient streams.big' from the media' could anybody please help me? so desperate to play it :(

    You probably have a scratched disk. Clean the disk and try again.

    Hi jokke , cleaned disk good and proper, still the same problem , rang ea, they were just no help what so ever , any other suggestions?

    You can borrow a disk from a friend and apply your own serial key. Other than that, I'm out of (legal) ideas.

    Try copying the files from the disk to the computer (folder on the desktop should work). This will confirm if it is a data reading issue if it fails on the same files. If this does work, then you can just run the install from your desktop.
