NBA Jam and Blitz are still my favorite sports games of all time. Sim games are impressive, but they just don't have that ability to bring a room full of people together. Everyone can play Blitz, even people that don't traditionally love football can pick it up, and chuck a few bombs.
My daughter and I play the NBA Jam that came out on the Wii allot, it's one of our favorites. Shame Blitz is not hitting the Wii, we would be all over it.
"Do you remember that amazing Friday night in high school when you scored three touchdowns in a single game, bringing your team to a glorious State Championship victory and earning the respect of the entire school? Oh that didn’t happen to you? Me either..."
haha, way to hook me to read the whole thing. I forgot all about this game, esta es muy exciting.
While people are busy remaking arcade-style sports games, someone should get busy remaking Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey.
NHL Slapshot on the Wii owns face. Zoe and I play that one together too. Very easy to scale the difficulty's, game types, make it more arcade, or more sim to your taste, and the Wii controls with the stick are actually allot of fun. And the commentary is unreal, its actually appropriate for all the on screen action, easily the best commentary ever in a sports game. Highly recommended.
