I think BioWare should make a pro wrestling game. A pro wrestling game that long, interesting and lets you develop a character of your own would be a game worth buying.

That would be a great idea to pitch to BioWare. Maybe I will ask them that the next time I talk to a BioWare rep.
Oh hell, I'll let everyone in on my dark secret..... From time to time, when nobody is looking, I'll watch a little pro wrestling. I know, I know, it's not cool, or hip, or maybe its even a little undignified, but I've always viewed it as performance art. It's an athletic ballet that appeals to our innermost fantasy to kick the hell out of all that oppose us. I loved it when I was a kid, and for a few years I watched every single promotion religiously and got to a live show from time to time. As an adult I'll very casually flip around on the remote some nights and if I see it, I'll watch a few minutes. When it's done right, it can still be tremendously entertaining.
Generally wrestling video games are pretty enjoyable, at least the last ones I played on the N64 and PS2 were. There are a couple different approaches. Sometimes its more arcade, punching, kicking, some easy grapples, lots of button mashing. Those are fun, but some of my old favorites were games that let you create a character from scratch and run him up the ladder, that appears to be the hook for WWE12. A good create a character session can take over an hour customizing everything from his ring gear, to his entire move set, to how he enters the ring, it's a joy to put together, in many cases its the best part of the game. Any fighting game fan that may be tired of playing Capcom or Namco's latest, give this a shot, you will be surprised at how deep and strategic it can be, especially when creating your own character.
