Thrustmaster T.16000M and Battlefield 3

Here's the sad news:

With the Thrustmaster T.16000M plugged in, the mouse doesn't work properly, as in LMB doesn't actually do anything. Obviously that's a major dealbreaker. Unplug joystick, boom.... the mouse works fine.

Not sure if this is a driver problem or what, but that means that for now I can't use my flight stick in BF3.

Can you try rebinding your LMB to a keystroke and binding that keystroke to fire?

Had a similar problem today with my Logitech G27 steering wheel plugged in. Lost all Y-Axis mouse movement.

There are widespread issues with joysticks in the game, ATM. Currently the xbox360 controller seems to be your best bet, but even that has some control scheme issues.

360 controller has no issues that I've encountered besides the inverted controls not sticking, oh and there is absolutely no control over its sensitivity in game and the default setting will have you doing nonstop barrel rolls if you are not careful.

I had problems with the 360 controller and Saitek X45 (joystick and throttle combo) on Bad Company 2, so much so that both were not usable in any way. In BF2 I used the Saitek joystick to fly and change view, but throttle and all other commands (fire, bailout, free look, etc) were on my keyboard as they would not bind correctly.

I'm curious... isn't there software that will override binds for certain inputs on controllers for exactly this reason? I could have sworn I had to use something similar in Just Cause 2...
