    Does anyone know the particular pin counts of the Intel desktop line-up?

    LGA1155 = Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge
    LGA2011 = Sandy Bridge-E and, presumably, Ivy Bridge-E.

    I've been waiting for Ivy Bridge to build my new gaming PC with, I'll have to read the reviews on this Sandy Bridge-E stuff. What's the E for?

    And they REALLY should not release a Socket 2011 in November of 2011 ! That's just plain STUPID!!!! They should call it Socket 2012 and toss in an extra pin for something.
