"Cool" thing to do?

So let's say you have a good PC, with lots of resources at your fingertips. What would you do to make your system cooler than others wheni t comes to software?
What I am getting at is things like running ShoutCast/iTunes or something better for everyone on your LAN for your MP3's.
Perhaps setting up an Email server on your PC that simply grabs your email from various different email sources and then you can edit your HOSTS file so that you can get into a WEB interface that you designed yourself (maybe) and all you have to do is simply type in the address bar of your Browser whatever you want and it goes to your localhost and you can see your email from there. No need to use a "normal" Email Client.
I kinda wanna do the above, try it out at least. What do you guys think I should use? Or need.
What else do you guys do on your systems that makes you more 1337 than others?

I played with this for a little while back when speech recognition for the consumer PC was still in it's infancy. It was nice, but the comps available at the time were too slow, and the speech recognition engine too new, to work THAT well. I hear nowadays, good apps such as Dragon N.S. work flawlessly compared to what was available at the time (5-7 years ago).
I'll do ya one better! I never bought the POS called Win**** BS, instead I have been with Windows 2000.
Yeah, sig will show that I already do this...:D
As for email attachments... bleh. Never had a Computer Virus in my life.
