    just a FYI if you have the same problem I did

    Already had 11.11 and CAP 2

    downloaded 11.11b and did the express install. after reboot no longer had Catalyst Control Center. Even downloaded CCC standalone, and it would not install.

    used driver sweeper cleaning out all AMD display files and re-installed the 11.11 drivers, CAP 2, and JUST THE 11.11b DRIVER (not the package deal). CCC worked fine then

    still running a first generation i7? it's basically a ti-83 strapped to a space heater at this point.

    Unless you want to do real tasks that are actually multithreaded. (Aka 90% of what I use my computer for)
