I have a suggestion: hold off on that hitachi and stay tuned for my review of the Seagate Momentus XT 750gb hybrid drive. You'll be storing your games on it, and I know it's 250gb less, but... like I said, stay tuned. Review will be up tomorrow or tuesday.

I think the biggest question on my mind is if I should get the 580. I mean the 600 are not to far off so I was wondering if I should get maybe a 570 or 560TI instead.

Have you given any consideration to AMD? Radeon 6990 is generally considered the fastest video card out right now.

I used to buy Radeon when it was ATI and the drivers were horrible. I dont know about Radeon.

Well the drivers aren't horrible anymore, haven't been for years. Right now, the price/performance pendulum is heavily in favor of AMD. If you want the best, that's where you should look right now.

I am going to buy another 580 in January and I do plan to OC the system. Is a AX850 enough for the above system or should I go to the AX1200?

850W should be enough for your system. Each of those GPUs will pull a maximum of 300W, leaving 250W for the rest of your parts.

If I were building this for myself though, I would go with a 1200W just to have the extra headroom.

I'm ready for a new gaming system, but I'm waiting for Ivy Bridge and the 7000 series GPUs. And my tax refund to pay for it all.

Maybe more around the 1000W point with at least 80+ Silver efficiency, but that is just me. 1200W is crazy high

I have the 500gb version of this drive on my HTPC. I love it.
