[BLOG] TortoiseSVN v1.5.7 released
TortoiseSVN, my favorite open source Subversion client for Windows, has been updated to version 1.5.7. This revision of version 1.5 encompasses a handful of bug fixes, some more critical than others.
Straight from the source...
TortoiseSVN Change Log wrote:- BUG: Error text returned from a repository hook script could get split up
wrong if empty lines were in the text. (Stefan)
- BUG: If the currently shown folder in the repository browser was renamed,
the url bar did not change to the new url. (Stefan)
- BUG: Unversioned items selected for reverting would move them to the
trash bin instead of leaving them. (Stefan)
- BUG: Deleting an item in the repository browser that had non-ascii chars
in it didn't work. (Stefan)
- BUG: TortoiseMerge showed a black line diff in one-pane view. (Stefan)

For those who require file versioning under Windows and have never tried Subversion or specifically TortoiseSVN, I highly recommend that you give it a whirl. TortoiseSVN is unique in that it integrates directly with the Windows Explorer Shell. You see the status of versioned files right in Windows Explorer and other related dialogs, such as Open/Save File, using icon overlays.
TortoiseSVN also provides a robust diff/merge tool and straight forward dialogs for browsing the repository, file histories and related log entries, etc. It is Very Cool®.

It also does not play nice with any sort of on-access file scanning, which exacerbates the problem.
32GB is a lot of source code. /me grins.
