[BLOG] Rumor: Backbone Rocking Out Rock Band: Unplugged for PSP
Although the article is posted a day before the official announcement from Sony, gaming journal Primotech reports that Backbone Entertainment (creators of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix) are creating the first spin-off game of EA and Harmonix's insanely popular Rock Band series of music games. While Primotech would not reveal their source, their information seems to be accurate, even for being published before the game was even announced.
Reportedly, the game will play much like a Dance Dance Revolution game would. Colored squares or arrows will fall down a highway and the correct button needs to be pressed at the right time for maximum points. Everything you would expect from a Rock Band game is present, including drums and singing, although it is speculated all will play the same.
