[BLOG] Batgirl kicks... and other accessories
I figure you guys are geeky enough to give me some good opinions on this matter...
Okay, I am devoting a several hour chunk of this weekend to scouting and probably purchasing upgrades to my Batgirl costume. I'm going for quality purchases, here. Things that will last and are relatively accurate. I'm fine with buying some of the accessory upgrades this year, and then getting some more next year and the year after... until the costume is "done." Tell me what you think:
My costume:
Boots:
Gloves:
Utility belt:
Wig:
Cowl:

Leggings:

The gloves need a little work (too long, missing the scallops up the sides), but would still probably be a good purchase WITH the boots. I also found these much more practical boots (http://www.streetmoda.com/pleaser-gogo-womens-shoes-stretch-knee-high-boots-patent-yellow-sexy-dancer-exotic-p-3373.html). I LOVE the cowl, but I'm afraid it might be a bit large, as I have a tiny head. Maybe with the wig.
In case it's still unclear, this is the classic Batgirl look when Barbara Gordon first appeared as Batgirl. I decided to go "old school" as Sam put it. Less scary, for one, as I'll be out with my kids. I'm going to put a leotard and black tights on under the all-too-short dress for now so I don't ostracize the neighbors. ;-)

My professional opinion on this entire matter is "yes".. oh yes.
*sigh* Batman and Halloween is the perfect combination.
If you're looking for accessories batarangs and grapple guns are a must.
Well, that is fucking awesome.
Oh well!
What a great family
