Hi icrontic.com. Why does my laptop turn off when the battery itself is removed while I'm charging? I also tried to remove the battery first and then turning the laptop on but it won't. I'm using a Toshiba Satellite L655. Thanks for the answers ^_^.

You need a new battery, the battery is no longer holding a charge. It also appears that Toshiba requires the battery in order to power on, this would be how the company designed the power circuit.
