Windows colors

I want to change the color of my scroll bar shuttle. I don't know how to do that anymore. IT WAS ONCE SO EASY!
Anyway, there's not enough contrast between the bar and the shuttle to tell where it is at a glance, especially when a long page turns the shuttle tiny. If I could just make it black or purple or whatever, that would be sweet, but that doesn't seem to be an option anymore.

In Firefox, shuttle is controlled by theme chosen defining the shuttle color, pattern, or picture and scroll bar area coloring. I use Walnut theme in Firefox 9.0.1 for the simple fact that the shuttle is medium woody pattern, and the scroll bar area is very light (looks white to me).
IE grabs from Windows theme as to shuttle and scroll bar. So, change Windows theme to a higher contrast theme, and you get a darker shuttle, light scroll bar.
HTH.
So, I guess my real question then is: Is there a way to change the color of the Chrome scroll shuttle?

You can also change Chrome's theme to get changes to elements in Chrome as a set:
http://browsers.about.com/od/googlechrome/ss/google-chrome-themes.htm offers a set of steps, which I hope might still work for you and others.
HTH.

I've tried changing my theme. Unfortunately, the theme does not effect the bar or shuttle.
That other page looks like it's for developers or something? If what I need is on that page, I don't know what I'm looking at.
I'm using this one, and Betsy switched to this one.
Hopefully those addresses aren't session specific.
