Edit: I'm arriving the evening of the 14th and leaving late afternoon at 7AM on the 18th (forgot about a commitment that evening, hence the departure change).

YESSSS. Eli and I are showing up the 15th and leaving the 26th. We'll be there awhile to work on the house and to relax. We will NOT be working from home as during previous ICSPs (barring emergencies, of course.)
Hmm... maybe I'll use a vacation day for this, and maybe come out that Thursday night... or see if I can do a 4 day weekend. I'll see what I can swing.
I'll be out for this, but I doubt that I'll be out for anything more than the weekend. I can't skip my Friday classes and I probably can't skip my Monday ones either.

Change of plans. We'll be there the 14th and leave the 23rd. Apparently we have a wedding to go to on the 24th, and another on the 25th. What a week and a half that will be.
It makes me a sad panda that it will be another year+ til I see most of y'all :-( Definitely not making St. Patty's, unless I win the lottery tomorrow night lulz
If I miss this event, this will be the first major Icrontic event I've missed since early 2009. That's gotta be some kind of record.
It's no record, whippersnapper.
Truth. Until I moved to Cali, I was the only non-Michiganite to attend every major event (ISCP, ICOK, and LAN/EPIC) since the first event, Short-Media LAN 2004.

Friday will be my birthday. I may have to commission a cake...
It will also be two days after my candidacy exam. I may have to commission a keg...
Someone mix shots and act like a fool for me!
Call me if you forget how to make shots again :-p

Since then, I've only been able to attend EPIC.
Plus, it was easier in the 'olden days' when there weren't 4 major events to attend per year!
We added a winter event (now ICNY) in Jan 2009, so it was only 15 months after the first ICOK (Oct 2007).
By the Primerian Calendar (starting with Expo kickoff as day 1 for the year), the number of "major" annual events @ ICHQ went like this:
1 -> 1 -> 1 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 4 -> 4 (current)
So we peaked with double winter events in the 2009 Expo year.
I spent enough time at ICHQ to claim it as a residence on my taxes for several years
I'll try to get a day off of work. At the very least, I'll have Saturday and Sunday.
