Humble Bundle Mojam
So, I looked a bit and didn't see this posted. If I'm wrong, oops.
I don't know how familiar y'all are with the Humble Bundle website, but essentially what they do is get indie developers to group games and sell them at a pay-what-you-want rate, and then distribute that money to the developers, charity (Childs Play and the EFF are regulars), and of course some back to HumbleBundle.com
Now, I'll assume most of you know who Mojang is. I was having trouble connecting to Minecraft, so I checked out Notch's blog and twitter feed, and stumbled on
The Humble Bundle Mojam
Basically it's Notch and Friends making games, live, and donating the proceeds to charity.
Unfortunately it appears to be in its final 26 hours (typically Humble Bundle emails about these things, but I didn't get one this time =/), but it's absolutely worth checking out, and the charities are more than worth tossing some $, especially considering you get games out of it. And you get to watch Notch and Friends making games. It's a pretty sweet deal all around
