Ethernet LAN driver
I need a Broadcom 802.11 B/G Ethernet driver put on CD for an ACER Aspire 5315-2153 laptop computer. The only thing I'm finding is driverdownloaders and I need to be on the Internet when I download the drivers for the chipset of that motherboard. Does anyone know where I can get this stand alone driver or even the motherboard drivers on CD? The mother board is an Intel Celeron M Processor 530.
Because I didn't have the motherboard drivers after putting a new harddrive with a lot more hard disk space and installed Vista Premium, I was forced to take my laptop to Staples. Staples didn't get the problem I was having fixed the first time. They only put a bandaid on the problem and it quickly came back.
I'm wanting to format the old harddrive I took out of my laptop and install Windows Vista so I can have a spare. But, I need either this Ethernet driver or the motherboard drivers on CD to install on this one too.
I've already tried to contact ACER, Broadcom and Intlel. But, these websites make it impossible to contact them on line. They are like Yahoo, You Tube and Google. Sometimes a person need to speak to a human being on the phone. I hope someone can help. Thanks

Download the drivers directly from Acer.
Regardless, if you have a USB stick available, you can download the driver, put it on the stick, and use that USB stick to install the WiFi drivers after Vista is installed. No internet connection is required during a Windows install - in fact if Vista doesn't recognize your WiFi card during setup you won't even have an opportunity to provide a driver until after the install is completed.
