What are the benefits of upgrading the the current service pack in terms of security for windows 7?

    None really, I already updated I was just curious

    The benefit is staying current on security and other updates, which is one of the best ways to avoid getting hit by virus/trojan attacks (excluding microsoft's propensity for 6 month known 0-day vulnerabilities)
